OUR MISSION
Our Story
Founded in 2021, Project Elimin8 is a youth project under the nonprofit organization SDCAST. Our mission is to combat nutritional insecurity all over San Diego county. We collaborate with large and local businesses to collect any corporate waste food and redistribute it to organizations in need, such as food banks, homeless shelters, and more.
OUR IMPACT
Powered by Youth
Project Elimin8 was founded by high school students, and the team is also composed of passionate high schoolers looking to make a difference in the community.
Community Support
We are supported by several businesses and organizations in the community. Join us in making a meaningful and lasting impact!

Leadership Opportunities
Here at Project Elimin8, we believe that everyone can be a leader. With our diverse opportunities for leadership, all members are eligible and welcome to develop their leadership skills.
Measurable Impact
Currently we have saved over 5,000 pounds of surplus food that would have otherwise been wasted. These donations are directly transported to our neighbors in need.
Connections
Being part of our team allows our members to build meaningful connections within our community and hone their communication skills.
